THE Company

Since 2010, THE Company at J’adore Dance has been setting the standard for excellence, pushing boundaries, and creating life-changing opportunities for young dancers. More than just a competition team, we are a passionate, close-knit dance family built on talent, teamwork, and dedication. Our company dancers, ages 6-18, train with industry-leading professionals, compete at regional and national events, perform in studio productions, and attend convention workshops to elevate their skills. But what truly sets us apart is our unwavering sense of community—where dancers and families come together to support, inspire, and grow.

The Season 2025-2026 is NOW FORMING

  • J’adore DANCE’s company is home to dancers ages 6-18 years old.

  • All dancers must complete an audition process in order to be accepted in to the company.

  • There are different levels of commitment and participation in THE Company available. You will be able to select your Training Program of choice, prior to auditioning for the company.

  • After being accepted, you will receive an official welcome packet with important dates and information to help you get started.

  • The 2025-2026 season will begin June 16th 2025.

What You Need To Know About THE Company…

  • All company dancers, regardless of their selected training program must audition to be cast into competition routines for the season.

  • Choreography for all competition routines will take place between July - December

  • THE Company works closely with our core faculty as well as guest artists and resident guest faculty who will visit frequently throughout the season.

  • All company dancers participate in a variety of studio performances and 3-4 regional competitions and conventions each year.

Company Training Programs

All dancers in THE Company, will have the ability to select which training program they wish to participate in, that best fits their needs and goals.

  • Company Training Program A

    Ages 6-18

    Training program option A, allows dancers and families the opportunity to participate in The Company program in a less intense training and financial manner.

    Training Commitment (June 2025 - June 2026):

    Classical Training Program (Ballet & Technique)

    Additional Required Classes: Depending on the dancer’s age:

    (1) Tap/Jazz Combo OR

    (1) Tap Class

    Any & all assigned “Competition Classes” for each casted routine

    Studio Performance Requirements:

    The Polar Express

    Winter Showcase at Perkinson Theatre

    Spring Recital

    Competition Eligibility:

    A maximum of 2 group routines; however, they are not guaranteed to be cast in 2 routines. Dancers will be placed in routines based on casting auditions.

    Company A dancers are not eligible to audition for solos.

    Competition Requirements:

    3 competition/convention events per season

    Casting auditions are required for all competition routines. Dancers may be cast in routines with both Company A & Company B dancers.

  • Company Training Program B

    Ages 9-18

    Training Program option B, provides the most comprehensive training schedule for dancers who are serious about their dance journey and want to fully invest in maximizing their dance education. Training program B requires more training hours and classes per week than training program A.

    Program Requirements

    Training Commitment (June 2025 - June 2026)

    -Classical Training Program (Ballet & Technique)

    -Tap

    -Jumps & Turns

    -Any & all assigned “Competition Classes” for each casted routine

    -Scheduled Master Classes by Guest Teachers

    Additional classes may be required at the discretion of the director(s).

    Studio Performance Requirements:

    The Polar Express

    Children’s Holiday Spectacular (if needed)

    Winter Showcase at Perkinson Theatre

    Spring Recital

    Competition Eligibility:

    Company B dancers are eligible to audition for solos and our annual winter project.

    3 competition/convention events per season

    Casting auditions are required for all competition routines. Dancers may be cast in routines with both Company A & Company B dancers.
